Slacking

The last weekend in January I went to San Diego with my mom and sister. It was so much fun and the weather was perfect. I have been meaning to post the pictures from our trip, but as you can see I still haven't. My sister Karli just made a sweet video of our trip, enjoy!

It be what it be

My Mom has been bugging me lately to update my blog, but after working all day I don't feel like blogging when I get home. We were talking about it the other day and she offered to upload some pictures of our New Years Day hike. Karli quickly jumped into the conversation and said "don't let her or you will just end up with a cheesy Mom post!" Ha ha ha! I guess it didn't go over too well with my Mom because when I logged into my account the other day this is what I found:

HIKE!

I love Utah. One of my favorite parts of this great state is the Mountains! Having lived here my entire life i can honestly say that I miss them every time i leave, even if its just for a vacation. Now that the weather has decided that we don't need to have a monsoon every single day, Ash and I have tried to find time to play in the mountains as often as we can. Here is one of our recent adventures up to Bell Canyon falls. Even though they are right here close by I had never been before so Ash showed me the way and we had a blast. Its not a bad hike at all so anyone who has never been I highly recommend taking an afternoon or evening and getting up there before the summer is over. It only took us about an hour and 15 minutes to get to the falls and we weren't pushing very hard at all. Its a quick get-a-way and it will for sure clear your mind!!!! Here are some pictures to help you get out of the house... Mikey I'm talking to you too.

...Here is Ash at the start of the trail...
About 15 minutes up the trail you come to Bell Canyon Reservoir.
With all the rain it was full and very green!

...Some of the views from the trail...

...Up at the falls it was coming down so hard we couldn't get to a good picture spot...

...For those of you who are wondering if I was even on the hike, here ya go...

...Back to the good pictures...
...On our way back down...

...As we came out of the trail I looked back and this is what i saw and I had to have a Picture...

And that was our hike! The whole thing only took us about three and a half hours and that includes our 50 minute stop at the falls and lots of picture stops. Again if you ever get bored and have an afternoon free you should take a quick hike!! And before I go I just want everyone to know that this, my first ever blog post is dedicated to Karli Davies (my fellow UTE and best/favorite sister in-law ever!) and the hike was dedicated to Patrick C. Davies (the Ultimate Hiker). Thanks for taking a look! Hope you enjoyed cause we sure did!!!
